I've been filming my process since the eighth grade — every layer, every correction, every hour compressed into a minute.
I work without black or gray pigment, mixing complementary colors to build my darks, the way the Impressionists did. A monochromatic filter keeps my values honest; everything else is instinct.

I have been a self-taught artist for fifteen years, and I am headed to Stanford to study electrical engineering. People ask how those two fit together, and I think they are the same habit of attention, one aimed at a canvas and the other at a circuit.
My work explores the relationship between animals and humans, brought to life through expressive, anthropomorphic characters. I also use it to address what is happening around us now, from environmental collapse to the social structures we live inside. Recently I have started working on paintings relating to my Iranian heritage.
I work in watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, and sculpture. Every piece is made to inspire warmth, thought, and connection.
